Excellent sample of the contemporary Christian artists and their music. I listen to this type of CD to keep in touch with the music styles so that when needing a CD for some young person, and I know the sound they are drawn to with the secular music - I can give them the Christian alternative. This allows them the sound AND uplifting lyrics instead of the destuctive/depressing lyrics so much of the secular world gives them.
Personally, I liked this CD and will definiately be purchasing more to give to others. Also discovered a few groups that I will purchase their album now, too.

WOW Hits 2009 is a collection of songs from different genres, most of which are indistinguishable in style/sound from the kind of music (or noise depending on your point of view) you hear on non-Christian radio stations today unless you are listening closely to the lyrics. I think the music styles will appeal to teens today, but I'm not sure about anyone over thirty. Some of the songs make no explicit references to God and a couple aren't even about God at all. If I had listened to a preview of the CD, I probably wouldn't have bought it.
