Nice nightlight January 8, 2009 My 20 month old son loved the turtle immediately for his bedtime routine. The green and blue are brighter than the amber but he likes those colors better. Serves as a great nightlight and entertainment before bed. Can't beat that and the price for stars on the ceiling!
Great, highly recommend. January 8, 2009 The twilight sea turtle is great. I bought this as a gift for some friends and it has made getting their son to bed and to take naps so much easier. My daughter has the twilight turtle which we like but the sea turtle is better. It has a moon on it and different animals you can light up plus I think the colors are better - no yellow... I don't think you'll be sorry if you purchase this because what kid doesn't love seeing stars on the ceiling.
great turtle January 8, 2009 Turtle was better then I expected. Able to view stars in both colors on ceiling from bed. buttons allow you to turn off lights prior to 45 minute timer. Great night light.
Love it so far! January 8, 2009 We got this (the sea turtle version) for my 2 year old son for Christmas, and he really loves it. He was not truly afraid of the dark, but was starting to be concerned about it a little. We got it for him because he is obsessed with stars. He goes to bed, lays down, and plays with this for about 20 minutes before falling right asleep. I t turns off by itself, but there are times when I go in there and it's on. I don't know if his arm accidentally turns it on or what. We have a night light in his room, and the stars still show up really clearly on the ceiling even w/ the nightlight, so I don't know what other comments about it not showing up were referring to. Also, it may not be super tough, but I consider this a BEDTIME toy, and not a toy to be tossed about and stepped on. So it should stay in decent shape if you let your child know it's a bedtime toy. I would highly recommend this toy to anyone with a toddler who is interested in stars, but not old enough to understand constellations... this is just pretend! One thing they could add to this is some super soft music that you could turn on with one of the buttons, but all in all, this is a great bedtime toy.
Star Turtle January 6, 2009 I found this turtle on facebook through Circle of Moms and had to check it out myself. I purchased the Turtle and my 3 1/2 year old loves the stars on his ceiling. We took to Grandma's and it provided some comfort in a different environment. It changes in to 3 different colors and my son loves to play with it every nite! Well worth the price and it traveled well.
