The Children of Light CD and DVD set is a multi-cultural project that helps children understand who God is and why He loves us. It includes 15 fresh, new songs performed by Ben Ketting and a number of children. The DVD combines the songs with well-produced video clips filmed on location in seven countries. The Story Behind the Songs, a PDF included on the disc, tells why the songs were written and where the underlying biblical truth behind each song can be found. A PDF of the music for each of the songs is also included on the disc.
Though especially geared for older children and preteens, this family-oriented album will be appreciated by all ages. The songs cover topics related to life situations encountered by most people: happiness, love, the future, money, power, discrimination, the battle between good and evil, and more. Ben Ketting is an international recording artist and an ambassador for Compassion International in the Netherlands where he lives with his wife, Kim, and two sons. Together they have a ministry that reaches out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the children of the world.
