Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Canton Jones has been a big-time force within the Holy Hip Hop movement and yet has seemingly been in the background for far too long. Having written, produced for, and collaborated with artists such as Lil' iROCC and Mr. Del, the head of Cajo Entertainment is now launching his national debut on Arrow Records. The follow-up to the underground classic 20 Yrs. 3 Mths. & 12 Days is The Password, which has has CJ picking up where the initial release left off, and then travel to a totally different musical stratosphere.Jones offers 15 tracks that range from ballads to funky R&P to a virtual crunkfest, and is guaranteed to keep your attention throughout the entire CD. Fantastic as a songwriter and with the ability to fuse slammin' beats with meaningful and prolific lyrics that relate candidly to the heart of the Christian experience, CJ is the real thing."Stay Saved" is a bonafide smash hit that identifies numerous situations that test a believer's ability to do the right thing. From impatient people to road rage to poor customer service, Jones provides an honest account of very real situations that challenge a believer's love, and then offers encouragement to simply "stay saved". Its a classic that could quickly become the theme song for 2005.

5 out of 5 stars Love This CD   October 7, 2008
I love all of Canton Jones cds. This one was off da chain as usual. It is well worth it. My favorites are cute, stay saved, warrior, and jesus but they all are hot.

First, I'm not a hater. I'm new to Canton Jones and love his music. This cd has a problem with the guest rappers on songs, not Canton himself. First track 'Doin it Big': One rapper states "...got their panties up in a bunch" - not the worse thing you can say, but do you really want your kids or should you really repeat that line ever? No. Second track 'General' (Not gigolo - as the other reviewer stated): One rapper states "I keep guns, guns, lots of guns, I tote heat..." Now, the song is about demon killing, BUT this rapper never states what those guns are referring to. Most people can assume he means scriptures, but why assume? Take it at face value, again do you really want your kids or you to repeat that. Now what makes me take this rapper as meaning real guns, he later states "When you open up the trunk and smell like skunk..." now, i don't know what he's talking about. Cause in the secular world 'skunk' is a reference to weed, but maybe I'm getting too picky. Up to this point I still would have given this album 3 stars. Third Track 'Warrior': I am shocked and very sad that no one stated this before, but the guess rapper near the end of this song actually swears using the f-word. Using the f-word, and this is classified christian AUTOMATIC 1 star! If you can't put this on and feel it would be safe for your kids or yourself. 1 star. I think because it's the rappers, no one may have really listened to what they were saying but, unless you have editing software, skip this cd...buy his Kingdom Business, which is clean and great! I'm just saying what I wish someone would have told me before I got this cd, but I actually have editing software.

I love it all. It is great way to ride, work out, and sit and meditate and still be fed with the word and good values.
