LOUD 'N CLEAR!!! January 14, 2008 There are almost the same track in "Live in Puerto Rico" too but this album has Closing Prayer instead of "You Won't Be Lonely". I have to say that I like the both live albums but I think this is a little bit better. The audience is a little bit more resposive than in "Puerto Rico". This can be also because of this album is not only taken from one gig. The songs are taken from various gigs. There was 35 gig in USA in that tour, so there was plenty to be chosen from. The album starts nicely with "Sing Along Song" which is a great song in this album. There's 6 more songs from "To Hell With the Devil" performed live, three songs from "Soldiers Under Command", Loud'n Clear which is taken from "The Yellow And Black Attack!", and also "Winter Wonderland" together with Closing Prayer. The most surprising track, however, is "Caught in the Middle" which can be found in "Against the Law". Well, this live album is perfectly mixed, and seems that Stryper wants the fans have the best sound quality there is. Stars: To Hell With the Devil, The Way, Loud 'N Clear, Sing Along Song
Lightening Metal September 29, 2007 This CD is Packed from start to finish with Thee Best Stryper Jams. They are High energy Metal Superbly Performed Live. Any True Stryper fan will not be disapointed with this CD and if they are disapointed, Well then, they obviously aren't True Stryper fans. Michael Sweet's Vocals are Unreal as usual, Robert's Drums are Pounding out all the Metal right on Beat and Ozz Fox's Guitar Work will just leave you in Awe and wanting More. God Bless Stryper! I Hope they keep putting out Great music for many years to come.
GOOD LIVE ALBUM FROM STRYPER November 27, 2005 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
First off I want to say I really like live recordings. Mistakes and all,raw is the only way a live album should sound. Examples are Poison's Swallow The Live or Power To The People cd. It is so raw that it almost sounds like a bootleg. Dokken's Beast From The East is another great one...as well as Tesla's Replugged double cd. The last two being a bit more polished so even the raw sound comes though on your stereo really good. This Stryper cd is the same. Sounds a bit muddy, you can hear guitar reverb and to me that is a good thing. Roberts drums sound great! I personally don't like a band to make a live album and then produce it, editing mistakes and adding overdubs, etc. The quality of a good live recording is here.
The song selection could have been better I think. I think this should have been a double cd much like Tesla's Replugged. They have enough albums to do it and I wanted to hear so much more. I wish they opened with "In God We Trust" as they did when I saw them on tour as Robert climbed a pole to get to his drum kit on a riser. That or maybe "Soldiers Under Command"/"Makes Me Want to Sing" to get it started. Most of the hits are hear including a different version of "Honestly" as well as the rare song "Winter Wonderland". My list of must haves would have included "Shining Star"(would love to hear that one live!), "Keep The Fire Buring", "Always There For You", "Lady", "C'mon Rock", "You know What To Do",and "Together Forever" just to name a few.
Bottom line for someone thinking about buying this cd...This is a good live recording that features the major hits of the band. If you are a fan of To Hell With The Devil you will really like it as they play most of the concert from that album. I really wish they played four or five songs from each album and made a double live cd but I am still happy they have an official live recording out.
Stand out songs are: "Calling On You" "Free" "Loud'N'Clear" and "Caught In The Middle"

Gives me chills!!! September 4, 2005 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Never made a review before, so will make this short and SWEET (Pun intended :) I grew up listening to these guys since day one. Although my timing is a bit off, I just picked this CD up today. This is by far one of the best live recordings I've ever heard! It's hard, heavy, and I don't think any of the band members made any goofs while performing. If you love the heavier Stryper tunes, you HAVE to get this. You will not be sorry! The bass, heavy guitars, the perfect playing......get it before it's almost impossible or highly priced, you won't be sorry!
