 Great Comparative Study Bible January 6, 2009
This Bible is a great resource for reading and teaching sciptures. It's pages has a smaller font than most Bible's font, but it isn't too small. It is very thin for a comparative Bible. Overall, you will be pleased with this Bible.

Ordering from Amazon is always such a pleasant experience! My bible arrived a day earlier than expected and everything was packaged beautifully.
The bible: I knew what to expect from this purchase because I have had the very similar "Today's Parallel" for the last 4 years. We all know the Zondervan issues of thin paper and glued bindings...I have come to forgive this because I benefit so tremendously from being able to read from several translations. I enjoyed "Today's Parallel" so much that I passed it on to my husband. I am ready to study the Amplified translation while being able to refer back to the KJV that I was raised with. I like the NIV and NASB for clarification. I am still a reader of the NLT. I have this(updated 2nd edition) in a parallel with KJV that is easier to take to church.
You should either study from this bible at home, or place it in a case when going out. My other one stood up nicely over the last for years because it was the leather edition, and I tend to take care of my bibles. The Comparative Study bible is my first hardcover bible that I intend to use daily. It is already in a case, so I see no reason it should fall apart...if so, the contents are so precious I will use the unattractive "duct tape" method. LOL!

I was looking for Bibles at the local library when I came across this very compilation. I came home and ordered it. I'm very pleased with this Bible. As an avid Bible reader I love having more than one translation. It's nice to see how other translations render the same verse. Sometimes you get a different feel for the verse. Having 4 complete Bibles in one volume is just wonderful. The scriptures are in parallel style for easy reading. The print is small, granted there are 4 Bible in here so print can't be too large. It's a nice weighted Bible but not overly heavy, easy to handle and locate scriptures. This has been a fine purchase for me. I'm very glad I made this purchase. It would make a wonderful gift for anyone who respects and appreciates the Holy Word Of God.
