This is the U.S. military edition of the Bible, containing all the same books, Genesis to Revelation but worded differently. It's better than the New King James and New Rivised Standard Edition, but otherwise the low price I keep forgetting the military doesn't make much money guy for guy. They're looking at equivalent Welfare or social security.

This Bible is easily understood. It is in the Good News translation. I find it much easier to understand than the King James version. I love the KJ, but it is nice to use this to help clear up a few misunderstandings on my part. It is small and easy to carry in the pocket and measures 6 X 4-1/2 and 1 inch thick. The print is a bit small for us with older eyes, but for it's size and the fact it contains the entire Bible, it is an excellent item to have close.
