1 out of 5 stars Inadequate & Incomplete   December 3, 2008
* Can't navigate to anyone in contacts list.
* Route home went through country club parking lot and also added a needless sidestreet forray to get to my street.
* "Hands free" Bluetooth does not connect to verbal command center of phone. Phone number has to be typed in by hand or selected from contacts.
* Could not download contacts from my LG enV which has a slew of Bluetooth features (more than any other phone at Verizon)
* FM option is worthless in crowded LA spectrum (not their fault though)
* High capacity SD only goes to 8 GB (according to manual)
* Level of detail couldn't be controlled (how many street names you see)
* Manual not available on their web site or I could have avoided this purchase which cost me a 15% restocking fee.

5 out of 5 stars Easy to use and thin design   November 26, 2008

Unlike a lot of GPS out there, this one is very slim and compact. It actually fits in my shirt or coat pocket so it lives up to the name "portable." It also comes with a dash kit to mount it.

The LCD Screen is big and bright. It is easy to see when glancing away from the road. The touch-screen function works well.

One cool little feature I noticed is a turn-after-next-turn arrow indicator that shows you what direction your second turn will be. This helps you know which lane to get into when turning on a multi-land road to prepare for your next turn.

Bluetooth seems pretty handy and easy syncing with mobile phone. Need to explore this functionality a little more, but so far so good.

Overall I am impressed and happy with it.

5 out of 5 stars The best in quality and features   November 26, 2008

I did some research before purchasing this product. I narrowed my choices down to the Garmin Nuvi or the SANYO. I've had the SANYO for two weeks now and am very impressed. It was easy to set up, easy to use and the map is very up-to-date. This is a winner!
