Product Description

Are you tired of anger destroying your life, health, and relationships? Or perhaps you're upset and have held it in for far too long. Guess what-you're not alone! A lot of women are angry, and they're blowing it! They vent it on the very ones they love the most and desperately want to stop but they don't know how. This book interweaves powerful scriptural truths with practical, personal examples and prayer. Readers will learn to channel passionate emotions constructively. Anger is not wrong, it is how we express it and how far we take it that determines the outcome. For those really ready to be honest and get free, this book will light the way.

5 out of 5 stars Very Helpful!!   April 6, 2006

This honest and candid look at anger, it's manifestations and roots was so helpful to me. Even if you don't think that anger is a problem for you, think again - I didn't feel that way either, but it's so obvious now just in the way I was reacting in life, and I thank Lisa for being honest enough to share her personal struggles - it can be very revealing and embarrassing to come to terms with it, but honesty is the most effective way of helping yourself and others!! My kids and my husband benefited from it as much as I did.

5 out of 5 stars A Major Help!   June 27, 2003

A friend who knows about my almost constant battle with anger, recommended this book to me a few months ago. I looked for it several times at Christian bookstores, but could never find it. But finally I did. I so appreciate Lisa's candor and transparency about her own struggles with anger. It made it feel like I'm not the only Christian who has ever struggled in this area. This book forced me to take a good look inside myself. I found I could identify with so much of what Lisa shared. Anger is still a daily struggle for me, but I have noticed a difference since reading this book. I highly recommend this life-changing book to any Christian woman who struggles, like I do, with anger. This is a book I intend to read again and again.

4 out of 5 stars less angry than before reading, and getting better daily   January 3, 2003

I'd like to thank Mrs. Bevere, for making the information plain and straight forward. The imbedded anger roots are now being prayed about constantly. I think God revealed two men that I have a love/hate relationship as the root of the anger. But I am not sure and I am asking God to say it again so I know its not me, intellectualizing and rationalizing based on the examples of the book. I'm not cured, buy i am enlightened, i mentioned it to two of my friends who need copies of their own, mine is study material, i have to read frequently that I am not the judge. That is a hard one to break, i still feel it but i don't say it out loud or as frequently as i had been accustomed to criticizing and judging people. Thanks so much for the help.
God Bless the Beveres!
