Early on in Quantum Healing, Deepak Chopra asks an interesting question: Why, when your body mends a broken arm, is it not considered a miracle, but when your body rids itself of cancer, it is? Chopra believes the two phenomena spring from the same well, that the body is capable of doing much more than we assume it can. He calls this ability to cure disease from within "quantum healing," and shows how we're all capable of it. He believes intelligence exists everywhere in our bodies, in each of our 50 trillion cells, and that therefore each cell knows how to heal itself. It's a fascinating assertion, one that remains unprovable by science but overwhelmingly true by anecdote.

 Did Chopra really deal with quantum healing? September 17, 2008
I was somewhat disappointed. There are levels of activity below the microscopic in the human body. Chopra calls them quantum by default.
He says that thoughts are connected to neurotransmitters, but there is no proof for this. I've read many books on quantum physics and the mind, and I'm always looking for a book on quantum chemistry and the mind. I was hoping that Chopra would deal with quantum chemistry more specifically than he did.

For anyone really interested in learning the spiritual connection between your physical body and your health, this is a must read. Most people don't realize how much what we think and believe is reflected in our bodies and its effect on its overall health.

Very interesting. Great for anyone interested in traditional or alternative medicines. Also great for anyone who may need help with their health or just wants to make the most of their current health. I found it quite useful.

Deepak Chopra is a long time favorite of mine. I have read Quantum Healing several times and I ordered the CD just to hear Dr. Chopra's voice. He has such a beautiful attitude toward the human condition.

In my opinion, ALL of Deepak Chopra's CD's are wonderful. I own over 12 of the CD's and all of the cassettes that Dr. Chopra has ever written. Since 1995, I have listened to Dr. Chopra's audio books and have read 6 of his books as well. All of them I still own and refer to. This is an audio book that has something to offer all who have an open mind and who enjoy learning about science!
