"Harassing Hell" I think is a very descriptive title on this book. Mitch is really living what he is preaching. I've seen and heard him in action in Manila myself. He is really harassing hell, opening the sinners' eyes to the reality of God's wrath - giving them a reason to repent and seek Jesus for salvation!
I think chapters 20 and 21 are a must for any preacher of the gospel. Any soft "God loves you as you are (and you don't need to change)" version of the gospel is a misunderstanding and distortion of the real message. The world need the truth!
In Chapter 19 the challenge goes out to all christians to wake up from a lukewarm way of life to live a wartime lifestyle. Lutherans (like myself) will not agree with everything 100% but the warnings against specific heretic dangers in our time are really needed. Anyway the main point is that all believers need to wake up, find their place in God's army (hopefully more are called to be street preachers) and fight the good fight to the end!
The book is of course focused on street preaching and you will for sure be challenged to confront people more in public with God's Word. Let it inspire you! If you can't go right away and stand on the street corner, sure you can grow in boldness on other areas! Far too often we are keeping our faith too ourselves when we should be bold.
There is also much wisdom on other topics like how to relate to the oppsite sex. Very practical and straight forward.
Also WYAM'ers and other missionaries will find good wisdom in here. The book itself contains a nice guide to areas of interest for different groups of people.
I recommend everyone to buy this book and put more fuel to the fire for serving God!
