Product Description In their New York Times bestseller Outrage, Dick Morris and Eileen McGann turned their spotlight on the American government's most egregious abuses. The authors return with a fresh list of government exploitation and corporate malfeasance just in time for the 2008 elections.

Great read January 6, 2009 This book is a great read. It is very interesting and very insightful. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn more about politics.
ABSOLUTE S*&% January 5, 2009 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
Nothing new here, just the classic neocon Fox News crowd screaming the whole "left wing gay agenda intended to kill our children and destroy America scare" BS
Dick Morris.... Why on earth? December 30, 2008 1 out of 10 found this review helpful
I didn't buy this book. I would never do that. I borrowed a copy.
I just don't understand why on earth any decent American would want to buy a book by this guy, who I believe is one of the largest pieces of @#!$% ever to come onto the political scene. Does anybody really take this guy seriously? I find that hard to believe. Do you believe that he would say anything to make a buck off of YOU? Are you a supporter of people who betray others they've worked for? Do you think you're going to get anything worthwhile or meaningful out of this guy?
I wouldn't vote for him for dog catcher. Look at the jerks he supports. He loves to be on that 'Fairly Unbalanced' network. You know, when someone can't do anything worthwhile in this life, sometimes he becomes a rogue sniper, unfairly shooting others who are at least trying to make this a better world. What's this guy worth? If you are incapable of buying a book that would make you happier than when you began reading it, or if you're incapable of the knowledge required to understand what might make you happier as a person, I urge you to purchase this book. Do you think that authors like this guy or Ann Coulter actually want to make you a better and happier person? They seem to want only to stir, no, shake the pot and make money by getting people all worked-up. Does that describe you? I thought so. Do we even know that this book wasn't written for him? I'd love to know.
Someone once said to me, "That Dick Morris isn't fit to eat with pigs!" I stood up for Dick, I told that guy, "You're wrong, he is!"
His name is 'Dick.' That's all you need to know.
By the way, I'm totally against any company who would trade with Iran, and I think lobbyists should be outlawed unless I get the same access they get. What this guy doesn't get is that Barack is the ONLY hope we have to get things back to normal in this country. What would you want, another 8 years of asleep at the wheel except for paying off his buddies? Conservatives had 8 years to get it right. All 8 years were a disaster. Does anyone really think we could win that mid-east-Viet-Nam war? They have more in the game than we do. Maybe if Bush didn't hide-out from the service, he would have realized that.
And the media has never mocked terrorist threats... we just thought that the idiot chief of homeland security and his Sesame Street colored terrorist wheel was quite ridiculous. Haven't you ever wondered why there were so many alerts, and colors on that wheel changed to extreme danger, right up to Bush's second election, and then they magically ceased the day after the election? How miraculous. And conservative talk shows like Limbaugh's need to be chased off the air, in my opinion. All he's done is tell Republicans that they are helpless little babies and victims of the left. In my opinion he's used racism to spread hate for Democrats and liberals. He seems to mock Blacks every chance he gets. I believe that he was the catalyst behind the extreme division of the American people. I just thank God that Americans finally realized that Bush was such a moronic disaster that they turned away from that angry old man who ran against Obama. Just McCain did heroic things in Viet-Nam doesn't mean the guy won't be just as big a disaster as Bush. Conservative talk show hosts just want to get ratings by getting the gullible all excited and give formerly good people excuses to become bad people.
And let's not forget one thing, Mr. Morris, Bush had nine months to create a more protected America, and he actually wanted to cut that budget!!! He weakened America. He ignored a memo that clearly pointed out that we were next. Mabye his assistants should have put those memos inside of "My Pet Goat" and they would have been read. The worst attack on American soil was done on the Bush/Cheney watch. They did nothing to prevent it. They ignored things that could have prevented it. Eight-thousand lives were lost because of their nonsense (WTC and Iraq).
Conservatives had 8 years, and control of Congress at one point before that. They had their chance and they failed big time. Hopefully the American people won't forget that for many years to come. God Bless Obama.
There's an old joke about the time right before the invasion of Iraq. It goes like this: This guy asks of his friend, "You enter a room. There are three dangerous people and a table. The three people are Saddam Hussein, Putin, and George W. Bush. On the table is a pistol and two bullets. You pick-up the gun and load the two bullets. You must shoot the two most dangerous of the three. Which two do you choose?" He waits for his friend's answer. After a while, his friend says, "Well, I'd shoot Putin first because Russia could become a big threat to the USA once more." Several minutes pass without a second person being named. The questioner finally interrupts the silence and asks, "What's taking you so long to pick the most obvious one of them all?" His friend say, "Give me a few more minutes, I"m thinking, I'm thinking"
...And God Bless America. And may God bless and keep Sarah Palin...... far away from D.C. Another example of just how cynical and stupid conservative voters can be, that they would even consider voting for her. I don't know, maybe stupid likes company.
Pure Paranoid Drivel December 26, 2008 6 out of 13 found this review helpful
Fleeced was well written, but the content has an obvious agenda: to lay the initial groundwork to build a convincing case to blast the left. Morris does this by using established facts to lay his case and build rapport with the reader and then uses innuendo, rumor, and falsehood to stretch the truth into a typical neo-con paranoid delusion. There is little here that is new, but I am sure we will hear Morris's conclusions echoed on Limbaugh's and Fox's shows over the next several months until we hear them so much that we begin to mistake them for fact when in reality we are seeing the truth distorted through the lens of myopic paranoia.
Again, nothing new here... Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh perfected this drivel years ago. If there's going to be true critique of the new administration lets seem some true, unbiased review of the facts.
This book is crap.
We are fleeced! December 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
No matter whether you are liberal or conservative, you need to read this book. He predicted what was going to happen with the stock market in JANUARY!!!! Among other items that we are now dealing with. This is expecially important information since we are getting FLEECED with this bail out.
